Rolf Gueller is Chief Executive Officer of Chemspeed Technologies AG and a delegate
of the company’s board of directors. He founded the company in 1997. Under his
leadership, Chemspeed has become a worldwide leading provider of automated high
throughput technology for research and development. Numerous innovations in
automation and the digitalization of research and development have been and still are
the basis for this impressive development.
Rolf Gueller started his career at F. Hoffman-La Roche AG as head of a medicinal
chemistry group in the department of cardiovascular research. In this context he and his
team began to develop fully automated systems for the parallel synthesis of potential
active substances as well as an electronic lab journal which ultimately led to the
foundation of Chemspeed. Rolf Gueller has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from ETH Zürich.
